The team at Howarths Foundation recently won the National Collaboration (Integration) Award at the Markel 3rd Sector Care Awards at Birmingham Town Hall. This recognition is a testament to the life-changing work being done across Leeds, Kirklees and beyond, helping people who have experienced homelessness rebuild stability, confidence and new possibilities through employment and ongoing support.
The judges chose the Foundation “…for its human approach-empowering and deeply rooted in place. What this organisation sets in motion helps people build stability, confidence, and new possibilities in their lives”.
The award highlights the power of the Business Building Futures initiative – bringing businesses together to tackle a national issue through collaboration, opportunity, and genuine community impact.
